About

I started university in civil engineering. One mandatory programming course changed that. I like learning anything new, but what hooked me was solving problems with logic, setting rules and limits, and having everything under control. Code was the tool for what I already liked.

I like problems that make me think and push me out of my comfort zone, the ones that need a real answer to something new. I do not avoid any kind of problem.

I keep things organized and I lead by giving direction, not by micromanaging. What we are doing has to be clear from day one, and everyone aligned on it. I have led teams of three to five as Tech Lead, wearing the lead engineer, DevOps and SRE hats as needed.

Simplest first, with numbers: a high-traffic bidding engine could have run on containers; with a small team, serverless was the right call, and it was.
